Meet Paul Micklethwaite

Founder of Broadland Landscaping

During the COVID-19 pandemic in early spring 2020, there was a nationwide shift in homeowners seeking to make use of their outdoor living space. This was no different for the founder of Broadland Landscaping Ltd, Paul Micklethwaite. Following a house move, the decision was made to landscape the outdoor area, turning a previously unkept garden into a contemporary, easily maintained space for his young family to enjoy.

With a love of the great outdoors and country pursuits, working outside clearly suited him and leaving his office-based role within the insurance industry would be the perfect switch.

Over the next 4 years, he spent countless weekends and days of annual leave, developing his skills to allow a transition across into a garden landscaper, designing and building beautiful gardens and driveways for family and friends. He undertook and passed LANTRA accredited courses on all aspects of Hard Landscaping at TASK Landscaping academy in Worcester, run by the highly experienced, Rupert Keys. As they say, the rest is history and Broadland Landscaping Ltd was born.
